alright

I do like these kind of simple platformers and I also like the graphics.
But the laser don't make any sense. Their shooting interval seems to be random. I can't pass the cave level where you need to advance a certain distance and drop to the 'hole' for cover because the laser shoots too fast. I'm running as soon as the passes me and I'm still miles away from safety when another shot comes. I managed to get to the end one time but messed up in the end, and after the death it has become impossible to pass so maybe there is a bug in how you handle the shooting intervals after you die.
I hope you take a look at this because this seems like a good game but it's impossible for me to advance due to this bug.

a little trick : you can jump over the laser if you take the right timing ;)
lasers are 3 seconds shoot with 10% random time

too hard

I think critical information like "don't touch the block twice or you lose" should be displayed on the first level, not on the second. And speaking of which, why in the hell do you lose if you touch the block twice? I thought you could go back to a red block and turn it back to good block but no, you make one mistake and its game over.

You are killing the game at the very first levels. Level 1 was hard because you didn't get enough information about the game. Level 2 is hard because of the game rules. You want people to play your game, don't you? I like a challenge but damn dude, relax a bit in the first few levels at least :P.

too easy

There's that one well known game where you play as the ship that drops underwater charges to sink submarines, but you changed the roles that you are the sub now which is a cool idea. The graphics are good and I didn't see any big problems.

But one 'problem' is that the game is too easy. Reason for this is that all the enemies come from the left side. I just camped the left side and sunk everything as they came in. You can stay at the bottom so you also get the money bonus for sinking the ships from deep distance. I had everything maxed by wave 10 and I didn't really feel challenged at any point.
That's not to say I didn't get hit, I did, but the supplies come pretty often which heals you up so even if you take few hits you can get healed up easily.
I'd suggest to make the enemies come from the right side too to make it bit more challenging.

Overall it was an alright game.

ugotgames responds:

Thank you for the feedback. I'll def revamp the next version so that more ships come from right side as well. Along with a lot of new power ups. Thanks everyone for commenting.

okay

I thought it was too easy, and I also didn't see that you could submit your score or anything so a bit pointless to play other than if you want to challenge yourself. I stopped playing after I got over 13 million by just doubling my money every round. I don't know how it could be improved. It was just too easy.

Aprime responds:

Good point, I'll put a scoreboard in the next one.. somehow?!
Adios!

okay

But what is this weird force that keeps pushing me to the right when ever I'm in the air? Really annoying.

ThinXIII responds:

It's not you moving, it's just that all the platforms keep moving, you get the feel that you're moving. anyway thanks man :D

not bad

This is pretty good version of this type of marble rolling game. I played it for quite a while and one thing that is clearly noticeable is the collision problems. Sometimes I die when moving from one platform to another because there is a small crack in there, and other times I pass it without dying. The bouncers also bug out sometimes, like in lvl 19 I was thrown to the finish through the walls.

So other than the occasional "why did I just die?" moments, the game was pretty good.

ImpactGames responds:

Thanks for the feedback.

ehm

Sorry but a minigolf game where I can't see what the course is like and the ball is huge? I can't believe you left out a key feature like that (the seeing what the course is like). It could have been a decent game but taking one shot in the dark after another was not fun. The whole fun part of minigolf is seeing the course and taking careful aim to the ledges and whatnot and thus sinking in the ball with your amazing 'skills' (which half of the time is pure luck lol :)). You totally missed out on this.

Soulghai responds:

I tried to rectify that omission. I updated the game.

bugged

Seems like a nice game but I couldn't get past level 5. First of all you should have said that you don't recharge the web after each level when you introduced the web for the player. I used quite a lot of it for level 4, thus completing level 5 is impossible for me. I tried reseting the level, no help. I tried completing the level 4 by using a lot less web than before, no help, I still get the low amount of web in level 5 that is not enough to complete the level.

So yeah, seems like a nice game, but a game ruining bug drops the score a lot.

plus40 responds:

At each level provides a certain count of web!!!

good idea

Good idea but it needs some work. First and foremost the power bar; it really doesn't deliver the punch it promises. I have a good sized (like 10cm) power and the ship hops like 5 pixels forward. It's confusing, you can get used to it yes, but not many people will give your game a chance if they are annoyed by it. I didn't really find much need to use the lower power levels anyway. When do you ever need to hop couple of pixels forward? Played 16 levels and the answer is never.

That brings me to level 16. Is that level even beatable? The ship just bounces backwards from the blue cubes and always dies. I tried it several times thinking maybe I just need to come in a good angle, and that probably is the solution but god damn you must have made it that you need the perfect angle and with the launching being what it is, it's way too hard to hit it.

I liked the pixel graphics and the music fit the game, but work on the playability and level design.

nananas responds:

Thanks for your review.

It's all true, I don't like the power bar either...It was the fastest solution, but not the best one :s.
And the blue things...well, when you hit one of them, your ship will shoot again, like when you use your mouse. So you have to point your mouse in the direction you want, and it will shoot towards it. (I just added these blue things for more action :D).

Oh, and the best levels come at the end...But I hope you liked it anyway!

A mario game without mushrooms? You can't break the blocks? No run speed? Collect stars, and then go back the same route, ie. artificially making the level longer? Man, you must not know what mario so popular. This is below average platformer with cute graphics, though the graphics are mario so no points for you from that either. And on top of it all it was really easy.

Kenney responds:

There are so many Mario games and all of them have different rules. Take Super Mario Sunshine, which doesn't have mushrooms, breakable blocks or running.

I like the things I like.
