At first I didn't think much of this game. But during the evening, I came back to play it three times, so there's definitely some addictiveness to it :).
The graphics are nice and the sharks movements are good too. If there's something to complain, it's the very steep rise in the difficulty. You start out easy with a few guys, but then within seconds there's bus loads of people swarming in and helicopters bombing you. Still a nice little time waster game. Good job.

Never really got complaints about that prerelease. Every 2 miners you kill, another one is added to the spawn count, until the amount of miners on screen caps out. Exponential growth lol. Might of been a good idea to tone that down.

not good

This was like Mario on speed (the drug). He moved very fast and must have weigh tons because the gravity pulled him down like he was a 20 ton truck.

The camera follow was bad. I don't see enough what is ahead of me because the camera starts to follow when I'm near the edge. I die all the time because Mario moves so fast and I can't see enough what's coming so I hit the enemies and die.

The graphics were nothing good. I expected them to be sprites, but you seem to have drawn them yourself and they just don't look good.

On top of all this, the flash is 9.4mb, I don't really know why. Sorry but even for a Mario clone this is really bad one.

Thats why I posted it online, so I can get feedback on how to improve it. I will re-submit it once I fix all the bugs you have stated. And btw, the music is what is taking up all the space. I will try to compress it a little.

too easy

Not a bad game but it's way too easy. The "puzzles" feel more like a chore. They are no brainers just use X to push Y and there's always only one option what to do and that's the right one.

I didn't like how the camera was a bit too close. I felt all the time that I couldn't see enough with the monkey. Good thing is that there isn't any dangers so bumping in the walls all the time is not bad, but little irritating. When flying with the poop I felt that I had enough vision. How about you increase the zoom with the monkey to same as with the poop?

Found a big bug. At level 13 when I have pushed all the buttons and are going to the bananas, I get teleported outside of the level (to the left) and then drop infinitely. Too bad there is no restart button.

Overall not a bad game, but I think it's made for kids aged 11 or younger. It's way too simple and easy.

Yeah I worried about that--I tried to make it more sandbox style, but apparently did not do so well. Good feedback I really appreciate it.

I'll be honest and say that my first thought about the game was something along the lines "this got awesome score? i see this kind game 10 times a day" but I'm glad I didn't quit right there. The game was actually pretty fun to play. While the dodging of falling objects has been done million times (by million noobs :P) this version had something to it that kept me playing. I think it had a lot to do with the graphics/sounds and overall atmosphere. So good job with that.

I didn't like about the unforgiving collision detecting. It irritated me a bit in the eagle level.
I also found the space shuttle level a bit hard due to the small space to move. Sometimes there was no way to avoid a hit.
And I didn't like getting hit after the object had passed me and me feet touched it. I think it would be much better if you hit test only the head area.

Thanks for the review! It's really good to see so many people enjoying my game. :)

I hear everyone's comments about the unforgiving collision and will look at changing it in sequels; adding a little bit of what I'll call a "forgiveness buffer". In regards to having just the head hittest though, I think that would make the game a bit too easy.

As an explanation, when implementing the collision, my thoughts had been that this is a game about dodging so you gotta dodge everything. Dodgeman is just a little guy, so the smallest of things can damage him ;)

very nice

Awesome space shooter. The game looks very good. The effects are very professional looking and pleasing to the eye.

The sounds and music are spot on. They don't take the main stage but complement the game very well.

The difficulty was good. I was playing it 'normal' and it felt challenging even then at some points.

Nothing to complain about the game, good job :).

I´m also glad to hear the difficulty is good now. Initially there was no energy bar so one died instantly on one hit and the game area was smaller,too.
I felt like that´s maybe too harsh so i raised the game dimensions so one has more space to maneuver and yeah, not dying on the first hit helps,too :)
I noticed it takes a while till one gets used to how to use the shield and bullet color switching to not die so quickly and kill the baddies quicker so i hope the other changes make it a bit easier to get into.
Stll tweaking things some here and there, but yeah, always good to hear if some things already work well :)

pointless in the unfun way

This game is pretty pointless, in the unfun way. Pointless games can be fun but this one isn't. You only need to move around, change direction once in a while and the game plays itself without you realizing half of the time what's going on.

I don't understand why there is a delay before you can jump again. It feels awkward.

The camera is pretty bad. I don't see enough of the ground. The camera is too high. While I can see everything that I need to, it just feels bad to look at that kind of camera.

The game is very bad, but it looks good. I'm assuming all of the score comes from it looking good and being for halloween. People give good scores so easily :P.

Yes it is exactly like ball revamped. There isn't much more to say about that :P.

I found the controls to be irritating. First I need to press 'space' to start the level, after I'm dead I need to press 'ctrl', and after winning the level I need to press 'enter'. For crying out loud just pick one :P. Like 'space' to start the level, 'space' to replay and 'space' to go to next level, simple eh?

Ball revamped is a good game, and it's not way too original of an idea. Live with it.
The controls have been changed numerous times, making space everything turned out horrible.

too easy

First of all, always tell players what are the controls. The up arrow key wasn't the first that I tried and I hate to have to guess the controls.

Now the game, well, it was ridiculously easy. There wasn't any different challenges, always just the passage and you had to fly to the end. Make some variety in the levels, other than changing just a little bit how it looks.

And that takes me to the graphics, very poor :P. The graphics did not look good, and clearly not much time was spend to make them.

Good that you learned a lot while making the game, but it has very little value to us. I'm going to have to rate the game as it is, not very good.

This is amazing for a flash game. But you should make it like it's in other FPS games, for example CS (comes first in my mind). By that I mean that the cursor should be always in the middle, and everything else moves around it. Not that you scroll left only when you reach the edge. I hope that made some sense.

Good job with the game.
